If your Catsights display shows a blank screen or No Signal message, walk through this checklist.
1. Check power
Is the USB-C cable fully inserted at both ends? Does your laptop recognize the display in System Settings (Mac) or Display Settings (Windows)?
2. Try a different port
Some laptop USB-C ports do not support video output. Try each USB-C port on your laptop. Typically only one or two support DisplayPort Alt Mode.
3. Test the cable
Use a known-working USB-C cable that supports video. The Catsights cable is verified for this purpose.
4. Try a different device
Connect the display to another computer or a compatible phone. If it works there, the issue is with your original device settings.
5. HDMI fallback (GZ156)
If USB-C video is not working, try the mini HDMI connection with the included cable. Note that HDMI does not carry touch or power.
