Keeping your Catsights display firmware up to date ensures the best performance, compatibility, and feature support.
Check your current version
Connect the display and open the Catsights app (Mac) or Device Manager (Windows). The firmware version is displayed at the bottom of the settings panel.
Download the update
Visit the Catsights support page and download the latest firmware file for your model. Each model has a separate firmware package. Make sure you download the correct one.
Installation steps
- Connect the display via USB-C
- Close all applications using the display
- Open the firmware updater tool
- Select the downloaded firmware file
- Click Update and wait for the process to complete
Do not disconnect the display or close the updater during installation. The display will restart automatically when the update is complete.
Troubleshooting failed updates
If the update fails, try a different USB-C port, ensure your laptop is connected to AC power, and temporarily disable any security software that might block the updater.
